Our services include federal and state income and franchise tax returns, estimates, extensions, amended returns, and much more.

We currently have an excellent career opportunity for a Senior. Using leading technologies and working with team-oriented colleagues, the successful candidate will be responsible for securing and analyzing client tax data used in the preparation and/or review of tax compliance products.

Responsibilities

Interface with clients and team members to secure tax data. Collect/convert tax compliance data into an electronic format. Formulate a plan to gather/communicate information to the client and complete accurate compliance products.

Analyze data and prepare workpapers based on professional standards. Determine the accuracy/completeness of the compliance product, perform quality assurance procedures, and prepare the product for delivery. Assist professionals in using technological tools. Develop process maps and data management models. Document tax processes.

Establish/maintain long-term working relationships with clients. Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery. Participate in recruiting efforts when necessary. Leverage technology to maximize productivity.

Participate in tax system and process change initiatives. Serve as IT liaison for Tax.

Qualifications

To qualify, candidates must have:

• a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of tax-related or other relevant experience; or an associate's degree in a related field and 4-5 years of tax-related or other relevant experience 

• knowledge of current automated tax processing systems and tax laws within an area of technical specialization

• proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability

• strong written and verbal communication skills 

• a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment

• proficiency in process mapping and documentation
