We currently have an excellent career opportunity for a Senior. The position is a client service facing professional, with a focus on tax process reengineering and technology optimization. You will be using leading technologies and working with highly experienced team-oriented colleagues..
Responsibilities
• Provide timely and high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations.
• Share knowledge to develop professionally and enhance service delivery; participate in recruiting efforts when necessary; leverage technology to maximize productivity.
• Assist professionals in using technological tools; develop process maps and data management models; document tax processes.
• Participate in tax system and process change initiatives; develop detailed functional and technical tax requirements.
• Contribute to a flexible, stable, and team-oriented working culture that fosters development and a positive attitude.
Qualifications
To qualify, candidates must have:
• a bachelor's degree in a related field and at least 2 years of tax-related or other relevant experience; or an associate's degree in a related field and 4-5 years of tax-related or other relevant experience
• knowledge of current automated tax processing systems and tax laws within an area of technical specialization
• proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP and PeopleSoft
• familiarity with consolidation financial systems such as Oracle HFM/FDM (Hyperion)
• familiarity with tax systems such as CORPTAX, TaxStream and InSource
• proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving ability
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• a commitment to learning in a tax technology environment
• proficiency in process mapping and documentation
